'Patina' is a rare thing on Marketplace... if you search for the precise word.
However, thankfully, the colour itself has many names.
This week I chose black and white to accompany the colour- it's a subtle colour, a dusty colour... and I'm quite pleased with my results.
The gown is by Bliss Couture- one of the newer gowns, and one that I enjoy, for the inherent opulence in it- ostrich feathers are a decadent touch, and I simply couldn't resist.

That is absolutely gorgeous. Can I ask how you achieved the colour tint on the dress with the rest of the photo b/w? Or is it a trade secret *g* Mind you if it involved photoshop I'm out anyway, I only use Fireworks.
ReplyDeleteThank you, ladies! Fledge, I use photoshopexpress.com and paint.net - my photos usually go through both, before I've posted. This effect was in photoshopexpress- there is a 'pop colour' option. It pops the colour you wish and monochromes the rest. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress and treatment of the photo :)

ReplyDeleteI love how your color jumps off the background. Beautiful job!
